In conjunction with New York State Maple Producers' and Northeastern NY Maple Producers' Maple Weekends, the Cornell Maple Research Station and Master Gardener Volunteers of Essex County will open its doors to the public for the annual Maple Weekends in March. The event is free and open to all ages. Visit the Cornell Maple Station for tours of the sugar house and maple woods, demonstrations and tastings to learn about maple and its economic impact on our state. During these weekends local businesses from restaurants to retailers will be offering a bountiful array of maple treats, menus, retail promotions as well.
