8-Week Welding Course with CV-TEC for Farming Community

  • Monday, January 31, 2022, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

One-on-one instruction with hands-on practice of the welding techniques you need to know. You can bring equipment you’d like to work on and let us know which techniques and applications would be most useful to you. You will have the opportunity to work on MIG, TIG, and Arc Welding, braising, various welding positions, and the application of oxyacetylene cutting for welding, preparation and fit up.

This course is specifically for the farming community, for farming businesses and their employees. Please only sign up if you own or work on an active farm. The class is limited to 13 people.

Dates: This is an 8-week course, held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-8pm, starting Monday, January 31, 2022 and ending Wednesday, March 30th. (With no class during the week of February 21st.)

InstructorTom Aubin, certified welding instructor, 36 years of experience

Equipment you need to buy beforehand: Safety glasses, welding gloves, safety boots (steel toe), welding helmet/shield, and welding jacket.
