Beginning Carpentry Hands-On Workshop for Farms

Learn the concepts, skills, materials and tools needed for stick framing as we build a shed together. Includes material estimation, floor, wall and roof framing and sheeting, and beyond.
Instructor: Kevin Shaw, Building Trades Instructor at CV-TEC and long-time collaborator with the Essex County farming community

*Classes are geared toward skills needed for working farms. Farmers will be given priority and classes are capped at 10.
These workshops are funded by the Workforce Development Grant and North Country Community College, in collaboration with CV-TECH.
