Backyard Poultry

It's almost chick season! Before you head out to your local feed store to be captivated by assorted little balls of fluff, attend this seminar. Chickens, Ducks and other domestic poultry can provide eggs, meat, and enjoyment for your family. This one hour seminar will cover if adding poultry is right for your backyard farmstead. 

This class will focus on raising birds from incubation and brooding to adult. It will cover everything you need to know about raising your own chickens for family consumption or profit. Topics to be discussed: housing, feeds/nutrition, health, weather, predator concerns, and more. 

Whether you're interested in raising a few chickens in your backyard or developing your own chicken-based enterprise, this online workshop will give you the information and tools to get started.
