Join us for a guided walk of the farm with Hyla Howe! Hyla is a Grassland Bird Biologist at Mass Audubon and coordinates the Bobolink Project here in the Northeast.
The Bobolink Project uses donated funds to provide financial assistance to participating farmers who modify their mowing schedules so that grassland nesting birds can successfully raise their young. The Bobolink Project is a proven approach that can protect birds and farms.
We will observe conservation-friendly farming practices in action and also discuss agritourism opportunities around birding and conservation. Light refreshments will be provided, and we look forward to seeing you there!
This event is free and open to a diverse audience including farmers, birdwatchers, conservationists, restaurant owners, institutional buyers, and more.
