Cole has been working in the ag industry for about a decade in a variety of capacities, but got his start at Asgaard Farm back in 2013. Since then, he's managed sizable vegetable and meat CSA programs for a land trust in Massachusetts, worked extensively in New Zealand, and even put in a brief stint on a cattle ranch out west. Most recently, he managed the supply chain for a company called Walden Local Meat here in the Northeast and served as the Canadian Territory Rep for Johnny's Selected Seeds. He originally graduated from Hamilton College with a philosophy degree back in 2015, but returned to school during the pandemic to get his Master's degree in Extension Education from Colorado State University. He lives right here in Essex and feels it's a real privilege to be able to serve this unique part of the farming community.
